Hello Australian students,
We are the children from 1SW at Rosendale and we have been looking at and enjoying your blog. We really liked the pictures of your trip to the Immigration Centre and the food you were making.
We wanted to ask you guys a few questions about Australia. We have been talking about what to say as a class and have come up with 4 questions:
1) What playground games do you play?
2) What is it like to have a hot and sunny Christmas?
3) What is your favourite food?
4) What are your favourite animals?

We play in the playground tiggy, hide-and-seek, trapped (my friends and I made trapped up),2 square and lots more.
ReplyDeleteAt Christmas time it is hot, so we do not need to be around the fire 24/7. It is also nice to be in the sun and unwrap presents.
Well my favorite food is sushi, but I also like chocolate.
My favorite animals are the dog, cheater, dolphin and lizard.

Our favourite animals are dogs and turtles. Our favourite food is passion fruit and gnocchi. Our Christmas is weird because it is hot and we visit family and friends. We play in the sand pit at school.

At school we play games with a ball and sometimes we make up our own games. Thinking here in Australia it is weird having a hot christmas, it is like when I try to imagine having a white christmas. My favourite food is gnocchi ragu, from the italian cuisine. My favourite animals are Mountain Pigmy Possoms(native to Austalia), Fennec Foxes and Chihuahua Doggies.

We normally play ball games like poisen ball or 2 square.

Christmas is really good here but it is a bit weird.
And my favourite animal are dolphins.

1 At school we like to play diffent things like running games and lots of sporty games like soccer.
2 For Christmas some people love to go to the beach but I like to stay at home.
3 I think lots of people love pizza but I hate it!
I love lots of things and they are Ice cream, chocolate, mango, stawberry, rumballes (whitch don't have rum)and pasta.
4 The animals I like are elephants, dogs and mokeys.

The games that we play in the playground are the monkey bars (which are bars that you swing on),the net (which is a green and yellow net that you can climb on) and on the flying fox.

To have a hot sunny christmas is just like a normal day in summer but you get to open all the presents that Santa Claus (St Nicholas) brings.
ReplyDeleteBut anyway the clothes that we wear are just summer clothes unless you've got a cold.
